MIL-STD-1553B DATA BUS HARNESS/NETWORKS
Compupower can supply MIL-STD-1553 Harnesses/Networks as per customer requirements with different cable lengths and various types of connectors.
Couplers can be ordered with custom cable lengths and a variety of connectors for direct installation on any system. Using In-line Couplers in Harness/Network reduces the number of connectors which significantly improves the reliability.

The MIL-STD-1553B Data Bus Networks shall consist the following:
Components selection:

The Network shall be fabricated using qualified and type approved Data Bus Couplers (CP 3001 and CP 3002) as per the requirements of MIL-STD-1553B.

Raychem (10614-9 twinax) or MIL-C-17/176-00002 cable shall be used in the fabrication of Networks as per the customer requirement.

Raychem connectors (DK 621 series) shall be used for Stub/LRU connections as per the customer requirement.

The Networks shall be supplied with proper color coding for identification. The stubs/LRUs shall be marked with proper labels.
All Networks are fully subjected to Thermal cycling, Burn In and tested for continuity, insulation resistance, Dielectric withstanding voltage and signal integrity.
